Transactions

The transaction management system provides a comprehensive solution for handling all financial activities related to tuition fees and other educational expenses. Each transaction record is categorized with a specific account type to distinguish the purpose and usage of every transfer.


Transaction Overview

Scholar OS allows educational institutions to efficiently manage various financial operations including:

  • Payments: Record incoming tuition fees and other payments from students
  • Discounts: Apply and track various discount types (early payment, scholarships, etc.)
  • Refunds: Process and document refunds when necessary
  • Transfers: Track internal fund transfers between different accounts
  • Installments: Manage payment plans with scheduled installments

Each transaction is linked to a specific account category, ensuring clear financial tracking and reporting. This categorization helps in generating accurate financial statements and analyzing revenue streams by purpose.


Find a Transaction

To locate a specific transaction in the system, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to "Admission Pro on top, select Enrollment tab, click on Students

  2. Select the Academic Year: First, determine which academic year the transaction belongs to (e.g., 2024-2025 academic year)

  3. Search for the Student: In the student list, search for the student using either:

    • Student ID number
    • Student name
  4. Access Student Profile: Click on the student ID to enter the student's profile page

  5. View Transactions: Scroll down to the "Transactions" section to view all transaction records associated with this student for the selected academic year

This process allows you to efficiently locate and review any transaction in the system while maintaining proper organization by academic year and student.
